This year, our Advent Prayer is centered around the Alma Mater verse, "guided by our love of Mary."

Advent Blessings from the Office of Campus Ministry. The word Advent originates from the Latin word for “coming”. During the weeks prior to Christmas, the Christian community takes time to remember the coming of Jesus Christ into our world which we celebrate on Christmas Day. Advent also serves as a time of active waiting for the second coming of Christ. The first Sunday of Advent marks the beginning of the new liturgical year for Catholic Christians. Each week during this season, the Carondelet community will gather in the Inner Court for prayer.

With Visions of Christmas taking place in the Garaventa Center last week the cafeteria was also closed; however, this did not mean that our students went hungry. NHS took this opportunity to sell pizza, IN-N-OUT, burritos, and Panda Express with all of the proceeds being donated to Invisible Children, Camp Krem, Coats for a Cause, and J.F. Kapnek Trust.

  • Mid-Year Transcripts and Email Notifications

    Posted December 5, 2011

Many private colleges require students to submit mid-year transcripts (grades from first semester senior year). For students who requested initial transcripts to be sent with their applications, mid-year grades will automatically be sent to colleges by Mrs. Missaggia when they are available in late January.

Don't miss that important email from a college or university... most colleges and universities communicate with students via email, often in bulk messages. Not only is it important for seniors to check email frequently, but also to check spam or junk mail folders for important information sent by the colleges.
