  • Students Dance in Sleeping Beauty Ballet

    Sleeping Beauty.jpg

With a long-lost princess, an evil enchantress and adorable fairies, Sleeping Beauty is one of the most famous fairy tales of all time. This year, the Contra Costa Ballet's production of this beautiful story will be even more spectacular because three of our students will be dancing in the show. Pictured from left to right: Caitlin Henrikson '18, Tara Henrikson 19' and Megan Sullivan '19.

The Contra Costa Ballet is a pre-professional program where teachers from around the world, many of whom are former ballet dancers, come to encourage the next generation of dancers. These dancers have an extraordinary passion for what they do, as Megan Sullivan '19 explains, "All my problems fade away when I'm dancing. It brings me happiness that nothing else could replace."

Come support these very talented ladies on May 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lesher Center or the Arts in Walnut Creek.
