• Class of 2015 - College Counseling

As you can imagine, September is very busy in the College and Career Center with individual appointments, group meetings, recommendation packet workshops, college rep visits, and lots of questions. Seniors have been informed that September 25 is the deadline to give rec packets to teachers and advisors for all applications that are due before Christmas. We have held three workshops so far and have three additional workshops scheduled to help seniors put together their packets. Because letters of recommendation can play a significant role in the application process, it is important that students provide complete information and give recommenders sufficient time to write their letters. Last year our teachers and advisors submitted hundreds of recommendations to colleges on behalf of the senior class!

One way for parents to help in this process is by completing the Parent Statement on the Teacher Rec Survey on Naviance. This is your opportunity to "brag" about you daughter and her gifts. Your insights can help teachers and advisors as they write their recommendations.

  • Senior Yearbook Ads - Now OPEN!

    IMG_8403.JPG

It is that time of the year to think about purchasing a Senior Family Ad in the yearbook. This section is the section that most students immediately turn to when they first pick up their books. It always brings a laugh, a tear, a smile… and we know you will want to be part of this section. This is your opportunity to put in that adorable picture(s) of your senior… or that hysterical photo you have threatened to show the world!

Ad sales are open until October 17, 2014. Absolutely no ads will be accepted after Friday, October 17. Any ad that is missing a component (photos, message or payment) will be considered incomplete.

Please follow these steps to complete your ad:

    1. Follow this link to choose your ad size, type your message, and submit payment.
    2. Visit this site to submit your photos.
    3. For more information, follow this link.
  • Class of 2018 & New Families Only - Signing up with Cervis

Thanks to the many of you who have already sent us your volunteer clearance documents (requirements listed here). Now, if you haven't done so already, please be sure to set up your Cervis account by following this link. Each parent/guardian should have his/her own account (if you use the same phone number as the "primary phone" number, the accounts will be linked and you can access each other's account while logged into your own account.)

If you had a daughter at Carondelet last year, it is important that you don't set up a new account. If you're having trouble accessing your account, feel free to contact our Volunteer Coordinator Angela Ricci.

For any questions, contact our part-time (Tuesday - Thursday) Volunteer Coordinator Angela Ricci at (925) 686-5353 x177 or aricci@carondeleths.org and she will be happy to help you.
