• Seniors Model Their Own Gowns at Senior Ball

    Senior Ball '16.jpg

At this year's Senior Ball, four very talented fashionistas were able to wear their original designs to the event. Nicole Bustamante, Micaela Camozzi, Emma Walsh and Christina Wong began taking Costume and Fashion Design classes freshman year, which is where they learned how to design and sew their own garments.

This exciting event gave these young designers a chance to showcase their exceptional skills with theses amazing gowns. Tres chic, ladies!

  • Giovy Webb '16 Wins ABC7 Star Scholars Award

    Giovy Webb.JPG

Every year, high schools are invited to nominate up to four high-achieving seniors to apply for the ABC7 Star Scholars 2016 Award.

This year, Carondelet nominated: Mackenzie Baker, Micaela Camozzi, Vivian Vo, and Giovannah Webb

After making it through the semifinal round, Giovy was invited to the ABC7 Broadcasting Headquarters in San Francisco to participate in an in-person interview with a panel of journalists. She was ultimately selected as one of seven Star Scholars in the Bay Area, in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement and exceptional commitment to her extracurricular activities.

Giovy will receive a monetary scholarship and her profile will be aired on the local news this summer! In fact, a TV news crew from ABC7 will be on campus this Thursday, May 19 to interview Giovy and get a look at student life at Carondelet.

We'll post a link to the video on our Facebook page when it airs later this summer. Congratulations, Giovy!

    * Don't panic...Plan your time.
    * Don't stress...Schedule down time, eat healthy foods, get quality sleep, exercise and breathe.
    * DO TAKE CHARGE: Meet with teachers; organize with Prep for Finals packets available in the library and on Schoology.

  • Traffic Safety Update

The safety of our students, faculty, staff, parents/guardians, and neighbors is of the utmost importance to our community. Please remember to follow all posted signs, rules of the road, and driving regulations for your protection as well as the protection of others.

We ask that you take extra precautions while driving -- i.e. no cell phones, no speeding, no quick turns while crossing lanes or entering side streets too quickly i.e. Arkell Road, and Carriage Drive, nor sudden/indecisive stops.

We recognize the excitement at the end of another successful school year, however, your welfare and safety is paramount to our mission.

Lastly, please follow all gestures and commands from our traffic and parking supervisors while entering and exiting campus.

We thank you in advance for your adherence to these important safety procedures.

    3. Have you completed the "Shield the Vulnerable" 90 minute on-line course and provided Carondelet with the certificate?
