The French Club stimulates interest in the study of French, promotes high standards of scholarship, rewards scholastic attainments, creates enthusiasm for and understanding of francophone culture and civilization , and promotes and perpetuates international friendship.

Activities are varied each year but may include celebrating French holidays and traditions, sharing French meals, taking field trips, watching movies, and supporting spirit days.
