French Honor Society

The French Honor Society stimulates interest in the study of French, promotes high standards of scholarship, rewards scholastic attainments, creates enthusiasm for and understanding of francophone culture and civilization , and promotes and perpetuates international friendship.

Activities are varied each year but may include celebrating French holidays and traditions, sharing French meals, taking field trips, watching movies, and supporting spirit days.

Meeting Time & Location

When:  Wednesdays @ Lunch (every 2-3 weeks)
Where:  Room 29

Criteria

1.  Students must be enrolled in French
2.  Students must be in 10th (2nd semester), 11th, or 12th grade.
3.  Students must have an "A" average in French.
4.  Student must maintain a "B" average in all other subjects
5.  Students must complete an application for FHS.  Verification of eligibility is made with the registrar.
