Ms. Harris will not be teaching Study Skills in the classroom this semester.  Instead, you are invited to make individual appointments with her for the topic of your choice:  Goal Setting, Getting and Staying Organized, Time Management, "What kind of learner am I?", Different Ways to Learn, Effective Note Taking, Test Preparation or an individual concern.  She will be available before school, break, lunch and after school.  E-mail her or stop by her office to make an appointment.  Ms. Harris' goal is to help you become the "CEO of your education."  Come with a friend, the more the merrier!  As always, you should speak directly with your teacher regarding preparation for a specific course.

Attention API members there's an API meeting during lunch at DLS in Room 407.

Work Grant students, please remind your parents that Tuition Assistance Applications for next year are due on February 10.  Applications are available for download on the website.

This is a reminder that Course Advisement Nights will begin Monday, February 6 for the Class of 2015, Tuesday, February 7 for the Class of 2014 and Wednesday, February 8 for the Class of 2013.  Please make sure to bring your advisement packet to the meeting.  The dates and times are on the Carondelet web pages.

A reminder about SAT/ACT test prep.  Method Test Prep is available for all students on Naviance.  Additionally, Community Youth Center, a not-for-profit center for youth is hosting an SAT Prep Course on Fridays and Sundays from March 16 to April 27.  Come to the College and Career Center for registration information and a coupon code.

Seniors, there is a scholarship opportunity for graduates of Mountain View Elementary School in Concord.  Come to the College and Career Center to pick up an application if you are interested.

All Waterpolo players:  If you played Varsity or JV Waterpolo this year, please meet in the Inner Court for a yearbook team photo today, February 2, at the beginning of lunch.

Attention sophomores and juniors who have applied to be a Counselor in Training at Camp Krem.  When your application has been accepted AND CONFIRMED, please notify Mrs. O'Leary in the Community Service Office.

Applications and sign-ups for spring membership in CSF, The California Scholarship Federation are now available in the Registrar's Office.  Completed applications with Goldenrod Transcript and a $3.00 check must be returned to the Registrar's Office by 3:30 PM, Friday, February 10.
